Why is this here? Parts & knowledge for the old speedplay pedals
When speedplay was sold various designs were dropped by the new owners & so finding parts has become ever more tricky. This is a shame as I like the X series pedals and I use the Frog pedal on a daily basis.
Cleats for these have been trading hands on ebay for crazy money. I hope in the not to distant future to have a solution.
Bearings - the measurements are 10x10x14mm for the needle bearing and 6.35x15.875x4.978mm for the end bearing. The SKF HK1010E seems the be the best fit for the needle bearing and the FAG R4-2Z-HLC for the end bearing (NMB were the orginal bearing fitted, but they seem to have a lot more play than the FAG units).
